Human Resources Essentials Certificate

Program Overview

The Penn Foster Human Resources Certificate is comprised of courses designed to provide participants with comprehensive exposure to the skills necessary for advancement in the human resources job market.

Students will learn how to professionally hire, retain and manage the type of employee talent that will help their businesses succeed. In addition to a foundation in HR practice, students also complete courses in compensation management, and benefits.

The course credits earned with this program are transferable to an Undergraduate Certificate or Associate of Science Degree in Human Resources Management at Penn Foster College.

Learning Objectives

  • Reviewing the interaction of the personnel functions and the objectives of an organization.
