Our History with the Military
Penn Foster's relationship with our country's military is extensive and significant. Beginning over 90 years ago, Penn Foster donated its curricula to the U.S. Marine Corps to help launch the Marine Corps Institute (MCI). Still in operation today, MCI facilitates the training and education of individual Marines through online learning.
Today, Penn Foster provides the Army Corps of Engineers with apprenticeship training at numerous military installations throughout the U.S.
Penn Foster maintains a strong military-friendly position by offering accelerated online programs, specialized military services, and providing education and training benefits for military personnel and their families.
Accelerated Online Programs
Our proven online programs allow service members to enroll at any time, study wherever the military service takes them, and our online format enables students to progress through their programs as quickly as they feel comfortable. In fact, most of our programs can be completed in a year or less.
Penn Foster has the accreditation and licensing to provide the online programs our military students need for military promotions and a rewarding career in civilian life.
Specialized Military Services
Penn Foster has an entire team of educational advisors who are dedicated solely to our military students. Our advisors are experts on military education benefits (including the Post-9/11 and Montgomery GI Bills) and how our students can get the most out of the benefits that are available to active service members, veterans, and military spouses.
