Program Outline

Your accredited online learning program consists of courses designed to fulfill prerequisite studies before enrolling in a major discipline.  Your first course is online only, which allows you to start studying right away. You will not receive hardcopy program materials for these lessons. You can access your first course as soon as your tuition payment has been received. Other courses will follow as you complete your exams. This certificate program is not a degree program, nor does it offer the student a degree upon completion.

Earn College Credit

The 15 credits earned in this program may be used to meet general education requirements in Penn Foster College degree programs.

Transfer College Credits

If you wish to receive credit for previous coursework, contact the college you attended and request for your official transcript(s) to be sent to Penn Foster College for evaluation.

  • Minimum grade of “C” required for transfer credit.
  • Up to 75% of required credits may be transferred.
  • Approved transfer credits will be deducted from your tuition.

Computer Specifications

You will need high-speed internet access to begin your program. You will need access to a Microsoft® Windows® based computer running Windows® 7 or later or an Apple® Mac® computer running OS X® or later, Microsoft® Office 2013, and an email account to complete your program with Penn Foster.
