Accreditation

You can be confident in the credibility of our school. Penn Foster College's Vet Tech Associate Degree program is fully accredited by the Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) as a program for educating veterinary technicians. This accreditation "represents the highest standard of achievement for veterinary medical education in the United States. Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review."
Additionally, Penn Foster College is nationally accredited. This prestigious form of accreditation means that Penn Foster has met the high standards required by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) in Washington, D.C. The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. We operate with the highest level of integrity, so our graduates can benefit from an accredited education. Employers are more likely to hire and accept graduates of accredited schools.
The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is also a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
