Penn Foster® Refer A Friend Program Terms and Conditions

Effective 9/1/2016

  1. General

These terms and conditions apply to Penn Foster’s Refer A Friend Program (“Program”). By referring a friend, enrolling in a program, or otherwise participating in the Program, the referring student and referred friend agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, Penn Foster’s General Terms and Conditions (“Ts&Cs”), and the Penn Foster Privacy Policy. The General Ts&Cs and Privacy Policy are available at http://www.pennfoster.edu/privacy-policy. As detailed in the Ts&Cs, we each agree to a mandatory arbitration provision that provides that (except for matters properly brought to small claims court) any claim, controversy, or dispute of any kind between you and Penn Foster must be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual and not a class-wide or consolidated basis.

  2. Program Participation and Eligibility

The Program is available to both current students and graduates of Penn Foster. Penn Foster prospective or canceled students are not eligible. Referral credits are applied when the referred student makes a first payment and three full, consecutive monthly payments, or is successfully paid in full.  Current students must also be paid in full or have a first payment and three full, consecutive monthly payments before they are eligible to receive their reward. Penn Foster reserves the right to modify, extend or cancel this Program at any time. The Program is only available online at: www.pennfoster.edu/refer. Internet access is required for participation in the Program. Current Penn Foster students who initiate a referral on www.pennfoster.edu/refer, are defined as “Advocates.” Non-students who request information or enroll in Penn Foster are defined as “Referees.”
