“My name is Christina B. I reside in Cascade, Wisconsin. During the process of searching my career options and for a program that was right for me, I came across Penn Foster. I did weeks of research and asked roughly 10 local optometrists for their thoughts about the program. I had plenty of questions, but there seemed to be no red flags or concerns left in my mind. I am about to start my clinical time with 20/20 Visions. Penn Foster has helped me create a perfect career opportunity. I have three part-time jobs and am on my way to becoming an Optician. “The clinic where I am doing my practicum is hiring me FULL-TIME!!! I am SO glad that I had the opportunity to get my education through Penn Foster! I get to quit one of my three jobs to become a full-time Optician/Optometric Tech! I am now 57% done with my courses and loving every second of it! I honestly can say this is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have been telling everyone who asks me the whole story of how I got to where I am today. Most people are surprised that I accomplished so many goals and I’m only 19 years old. I am amazed by my success and all that I have accomplished within the last year. I took a little break for the summer with my studies, but I’m back on track now. I get to go watch a LASIK procedure this Friday for work. I cannot wait!
