With an experienced team of expert instructors leading the way, and a community of hardworking, passionate students giving their all to learn animal care, it’s hard not to notice Penn Foster’s Veterinary Academy.  In celebrating National Vet Tech Week, we’d like to spotlight the Penn Foster Veterinary Academy for winning the AVTE/Merial Award for Excellence in Team Teaching!

Awarded at the biennial Association of Veterinary Technician Educators Symposium last month in Ontario, the AVTE honored the Penn Foster Veterinary Academy for their dedication and focus on improving students’ learning experience and outcomes. Dr. Jim Hurrell himself as a speaker at the symposium, and spoke to the importance of cultivating a respectful and supportive environment for both students and faculty alike.

We know just how much hard work is put into our Veterinary Community by our students and faculty alike, so it only seems appropriate to call attention to this impressive achievement by the Penn Foster Veterinary Academy! If you are looking to take the first steps towards a career in animal care, our AVMA-CVTEA accredited online Veterinary Technician Associate Degree program might just be the path for you.
