tax return delays

Many of us eagerly await our tax returns each February - and often have plans for that money before we receive it. This year, many people are having to wait to pursue those goals because of a law passed in 2015, which requires the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to delay checks to households claiming tax credits such as a child tax credit or the Earned Income Tax Credit. This delay allows the IRS to match tax returns with the W-2s and information filed by employers. This year, the IRS has advised taxpayers to not expect their returns until after February 27th.

You may be one of the taxpayers affected and either haven’t yet received your expected refund, or received it later than expected - and if you are, we’re here to help. We don’t want this delay to prevent you from accomplishing your goals or taking the steps to begin a new career! You can start your education in many of our programs for as low as $10. Check out this offer to learn more about what we’re doing to help those waiting on their refund check.
