Laura started out as an English Grader here at Penn Foster in May of this year and is now a Teacher's Assistant.
She is a graduate of Marywood University, where she majored in English Language and Literature.
She was born and raised in the Scranton area and has dabbled in a few different jobs over the years, including private tutoring, shoe sales, and being the most delightful out of all the workers at her father's pizza shop.

What is one piece of advice you'd like to give students?
Try your best, take your time, and don't give up.
What are some of your passions?
Books, television, and animal rights.
What is your most memorable experience as a student?
I changed my major a couple of times in college, and eventually decided to major in English. I had to play catch up so took nothing but English class for a couple of semesters. I spent all of my time writing papers and never slept.
What are some of your personal or professional goals?
I would like to eventually own a bookstore/coffee shop/publishing house.
