Understanding the Business of Retail

Your online training includes 13 lessons that breakdown the business of the retail industry, geared toward growing your understanding of a retail team, managing inventory, and handling workplace safety. You’ll cover information necessary to work in the retail industry in classes such as Loss Prevention, Merchandising, Planning and Following a Career Path, and more.

Eligibility Requirements

Learners should be at least 15 years of age in order to take the course. By the end of the program, students should have an understanding of the retail industry, have developed job readiness skills, and build basic customer service skills.

Course Delivery

The Business of Retail: Operations and Profit credentialing course is offered through an online format, including exams. Though the coursework is self-paced, the estimated course duration is eleven hours online.
