What Your Learners Will Study:

  1. Advanced veterinary pharmacology, building an understanding of various drugs used in veterinary medicine including the different types and functions of antimicrobials, anti-parasitics, disinfectants, and anti-inflammatory drugs.
  2. Build an understanding of the importance of proper preventative healthcare and rehabilitation for animals including proper nutrition, parasite control, and vaccine protocols.
  3. Become familiar with emergency and critical veterinary care including how to assess and manage emergencies, traumas, and CPR best practices.
  4. Build surgical nursing skills and understand surgical anesthesia fundamentals and techniques that allow for humane surgery to be performed on all animal species.
