Forensic Computer Examiner Enrollment Requirements

• Age - 17
• Education - High school diploma or equivalent
• Technology Requirements - You will need access to high-speed internet to begin your program. In addition, you will need access to a Microsoft® Windows® based computer running Windows 10® or later or an Apple® Mac® computer running macOS® Sierra Version 11.2 or later, and an email account to complete this program with Penn Foster.

• Additional Recommended Items – The following is a list of items not required, but would be beneficial for a student to have access to along with the computer requirements:
  • Access to computers that dual-boot to Linux or UNIX
  • An external USB, FireWire, or SATA drive larger than a typical 512 thumb drive
  • Operating Systems and Hardware
  • Hard disk partition of 10 GB or more
  • Linux
  • Red Hat Linux 9 or Fedora standard installation
  • Hard disk partition of 2 GB or more reserved for Linux

Refund Policy

At Penn Foster, we continue to develop new ways to expand and improve student satisfaction.
