Keri has worked at Penn Foster for over 6 years. In her career with the school she has had the opportunity to work in many departments. She started out as an Admissions Counselor then moved to Student Care. Keri had the opportunity to work on a special project between Penn Foster and another college in their admissions department. Currently as a Teaching Assistant Keri has the opportunity to interact with students through mail, email, and on the Penn Foster community.
Keri started out her career at Binghamton University. During her time there she was involved in internships working with disabled individuals and counseling kindergarten students.
After completing college she moved on to working in an emergency shelter for children who had been removed from their homes or sent away by their parents. This enabled her to grow as a counselor. She also worked as a caseworker working with children with disabilities and their families. This enabled her to attend school and community meetings and gave her the confidence to vocalize the needs of her clients.
In addition to working on her skills as a counselor Keri also worked as a tutor and substitute teacher for about 5 years. As a teacher she had the opportunity to teach every grade level k-12.
I am full of spirit and determination. I will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
