What is one piece of advice you’d like to give students?
Don't give up. Learning through distance education might seem easy, but it can be very difficult to stay motivated over a long period of time. Stay focused on your goal, and you will get there.
What made you decide to be an educator at Penn Foster?
I enjoy helping students reach their goals. Knowing that you have a small part to play in helping someone improve their life is rewarding for me.
What are some of your interests?
I have a lot of hobbies, including reading, fishing, sports, science, history, and golf. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
What was the best day of your life?
The day my son was born.
What types of volunteer experiences have you had?
I have volunteered as an assistant basketball coach and have participated in various fundraising events at my son's school. I have also assisted in many “Day of Caring” events with the United Way.
