Tessa Scrobola is a Biology instructor. In this position Tessa uses her knowledge and experience as a high school teacher to assist students with any education and academic challenges that they might be facing. In doing this Tessa helps to increase the academic standing and retention of the students.
Prior to joining Penn Foster, Tessa was a High School Science teacher at Crestwood School District in Mountain Top, PA. During her time there, Tessa taught grades 9th through 12th in subjects ranging from Introduction to Chemistry and Physics, Biology, and Ecology. The most frequent advice that I give to students is: Make a plan and stick to it... Time management is the most important skill you can have as a student, especially with independent study!
