CDA Gold Standard

Penn Foster College has been awarded the CDA Gold Standard.℠ The CDA Gold Standard is part of the Council's early childhood educaiton effort to help CDA students find the high-quality training and student services they need in preparation for the CDA exam, and a career as early childhood educators.

2017 Winner for Vet Tech App

Penn Foster's Vet Tech Terminology Mobile Memory Game was awarded for its use of responsive design to engage and motivate students through interactive learning. The mobile app was specifically designed to help students learn challenging medical terminology, which in turn helps them build confidence, knowledge, and credibility in their careers.

The Best Online High School Diploma Programs

Penn Foster High School was ranked #7 on The Best Schools’ list of The 50 Best Online High School Diplomas. The listed schools were evaluated based on their programming, academic oversight (accreditation status at publication time), state approval, performance, inclusivity, personal attention, and cost.

2015 Brandon Hall Group Bronze Excellence in Learning Award

Penn Foster Education Group and Allen Interactions have won the 2015 Bronze Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Learning Award in the Best Use of Mobile Learning Category, for their jointly developed Mobile Memory Games app. The app features medical terminology games for online programs in the Allied Health and Veterinary Technology fields and has already been successfully deployed by Penn Foster Education Group, Inc.’s affiliate, Penn Foster, Inc. in its Allied Health and Veterinary Technology Associate’s Degree programs.

2016 Military Friendly® School Designation

Penn Foster was awarded the 2016 Military Friendly® School designation by Victory Media. This is the third year Penn Foster has been designated a Military Friendly® post-secondary school, specifically in the online-only category. Penn Foster was one of 38 online-only post-secondary schools awarded the 2016 Military Friendly® School designation. Penn Foster has provided affordable, quality education and career training for the military for more than 90 years.

Penn Foster Vet Tech student Ryan Banks won Purina's National Weight Coach of the Month award for his work implementing a weight management program for the patients at Sand Creek Animal Hospital.

From more than 230,000 entries submitted, Penn Foster High School student Morgan Vaca was chosen to receive Regional Honorable Mention Awards from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her literary pieces in the categories of Science Fiction/Fantasy and Humor.
