Penn Foster breaks high school diploma record

More than 20,000 students graduated in 2014 with high school diplomas from a school based in Scranton.

The number of graduates is a 54 percent increase from 2013 for Penn Foster, which is headquartered on Oak Street.

“We’re really proud of the work of our students, getting to graduation,” Dara Warn, the school’s chief marketing officer, said Friday. “We’re also really proud of the organization.”
