As a result of its work with 7Summits to rebuild its Community, Penn Foster has been honored as a finalist for two Social Media Leadership Awards: Customer Service, which focuses on customer care for social customers, and Voice of the Future, which honors communications and marketing departments within institutions. Penn Foster will participate in a two-day conference and awards ceremony on Dec. 9 in Philadelphia, Pa., during which the winners of the awards will be announced.
The theme of this year’s event focuses on how organizations are utilizing social data to grow revenue and measure social media return on investment. A panel of judges selected finalists for the Social Media Leadership Awards’ eighteen categories based on innovative strategies and measurable success in achieving business objectives through the use of social media. Finalists in this year’s class include Adobe, Dell, American Airlines and JP Morgan Chase.
