Penn Foster Announces Winter 2016 Student Lifelong Learner Awards

SCRANTON, PA, (January 3, 2017) — Penn Foster, a leading skills solutions organization focused on providing competencies, credentials, career pathways and employment matching for today's evolving workforce, recently announced its Lifelong Learner Awards recipients for the second half of 2016. The Lifelong Learner Award acknowledges the hard work of students who have successfully completed five or more Penn Foster programs by providing them with unlimited, free access to all 200+ Penn Foster programs for life.

“At Penn Foster, we are especially grateful for our devoted students that return time and time again to continue their education with us,” said Dara Warn, Chief Outcomes Officer, Penn Foster. “The Lifelong Learner Awards recognize individuals who have committed to learning - regardless of age or career - and we wish to celebrate these individuals and honor their love of learning by providing them with full access to our suite of programs, free of cost, for life.”

A total of 135 students earned Lifelong Learner Awards at Penn Foster since the later half of 2016.  Students are considered eligible for Lifetime Learner status if they have successfully completed all academic requirements of at least five programs, and met all financial obligations associated with those programs. Recipients are named twice a year in June and December. The list of award recipients is housed on the Penn Foster Student Community here.
