How do you get into culinary school?

In order to get into culinary school, you’ll need to have graduated from high school or earned your GED. From there, you’ll find and apply to schools you’re interested in just like you would when you want to go to college after graduation. Most schools will look at your grades and some may even ask you to submit a portfolio or additional application requirements. With Penn Foster’s High School with Culinary Career Pathway, you’ll get a head start on learning cooking basics that can help you build the skills to be successful in the field. What do you learn in an online cooking class?

In your online cooking classes, you’ll cover the fundamentals of cooking including making stocks, soups, preparing a variety of poultry and beef dishes, and more.
