Total Cost

The total cost of tuition for your online Locksmith & Home Security Technician Career Diploma Program covers the cost of your studies and any study materials included in your program.¹

The difference between the payment options is the dollar amount the credit will cost you for selecting a monthly payment plan versus paying in full.

Enrollment Requirements

• Age - 17
• Education - 8th Grade
• Technology Requirements - You will need high-speed internet access to begin your program. In addition, you will need access to a Microsoft^® Windows^® based computer running Windows^® 10 or later or an Apple^® Mac^® computer running macOS^® Sierra Version 11.2 or later, a digital camera and video recording device (or high resolution camera phone), and an email account to participate in and complete your program. A smart phone or tablet device can also be used in addition to a computer, provided the device(s) can connect to the internet.

What’s included?

Transfer Credits

To have previous courses considered for transferability, contact the college you attended and request for your official transcript(s) to be sent to Penn Foster for evaluation.

• Minimum grade of "C" required for transfer credit.
• Approved transfer credits will be deducted from your tuition.

Refund Policy

At Penn Foster, we continue to develop new ways to expand and improve student satisfaction. However, if you are not satisfied or can no longer continue your locksmith program, we offer a refund policy. If you cancel within the first 6 days of enrollment you will receive a full refund. After the first 6 days your refund amount will be based on:

• Lessons completed
• Tuition collected
• Enrollment date
