Program Goal

To prepare students for opportunities in entry-level positions in the field of accounting, but can also be used as a foundation for further training.

  • Create financial statements that show an understanding of the accounting cycle, are accurate, and comply with generally accepted accounting procedures
  • Explain issues of internal control of cash in balance and cash flow statements and external financial reporting

  • Discuss ethical and legal standards to the business environment
  • Describe economic and financial markets and the business economy
