Your program consists of four semesters. You must complete a separate re-enrollment application for each semester. The tuition is up to $79 per credit for all semesters. The A.S. in Early Childhood Education degree consists of 63 credits (Semester One: 14 credits, Semester Two: 15 credits, Semester Three: 16 credits, Semester Four: 18 credits). Penn Foster College reserves the right to adjust the tuition and fees in subsequent semesters. In addition, a non-refundable shipping and handling fee of $65 for each semester will be charged.
* The Final Semester at No Cost promotion does not include any practicum or resident lab training fees. To qualify for this offer, A.S. and B.A.S. degree students must complete and pay in full for at least 30 Penn Foster credits and B.S. degree students must complete and pay in full for at least 60 Penn Foster credits prior to the final semester.

Transfer Credits​

To have previous Early Childhood Education coursework considered for transfer credits, contact the college you attended and request for your official transcript(s) to be sent to Penn Foster College for evaluation.

  • Minimum grade of "C" required for transfer credit.
  • Approved transfer credits will be deducted from your tuition.

Refund Policy

At Penn Foster, we continue to develop new ways to expand and improve student satisfaction. However, if you are not satisfied or can no longer continue your studies, we offer a generous refund policy. If you cancel within the first 6 days of enrollment you will receive a full refund. After the first 6 days your refund amount will be based on:

  • Lessons completed
  • Tuition collected
  • Enrollment date
