As a student, graduate, or former student of Penn Foster High School, Career School, or College, you can request to have your official academic transcript sent directly to you or another institution.

Current Student Records Process

Once you’ve located your student record, you will be directed to fill out an official Penn Foster Transcript Request with a third party vendor, Parchment.
You will be prompted to enter more detailed student information, and select where or who you would like your transcript sent to.
You can then choose between an eTranscript or Paper Transcript, which will be mailed to the address you select. Fees vary based on delivery method.
Next, you will need to provide details on your order options, including which program you want your transcript generated for.
Finally, you will need to provide an electronic signature of consent, and submit your payment information for the transcript processing. You will have a chance to review your order before it is placed.

After You Enroll

If you’re a new Penn Foster student who would like to transfer credits from a previous school, you’ll want to send us a copy of your official transcript. After enrolling, Penn Foster High School and Penn Foster College students who would like to transfer credits to their program can follow the prompts in their Learner Center for instructions on submitting your transcripts.

To expedite processing and ensure we can apply your information to the right student record, please write your enrollment number on the envelope. Your enrollment number can be found in your enrollment agreement. If you’re not yet enrolled and are sending in transcripts for a pre-evaluation, contact our Admissions Team who will advise you on the best way to ensure your credits are applied to your correct student record.

Does Penn Foster charge for copies of my transcripts?

Yes, there is a fee for an official copy of your transcripts, whether you have them sent to yourself or another school.

What if I can’t find my student records?

If you can’t find your student records with the record locator form, try entering a former address or phone number you may have used when enrolling in your Penn Foster program. If you’re still having trouble, reach out to our Learner Success Advocates for help at 888-427-1500.

Yes, when you complete your transcript request through Parchment, you can choose where your documents are sent. If you’re having your documents sent to another school, make sure you have the correct email or mailing address for the department you’re intending to send them to.

I lost my Penn Foster diploma. Can I get a copy?

Yes, you can order a copy of your diploma or degree! Simply search for your student records, fill out the information, and follow the steps to order your copy.

How to request a duplicate diploma or certificate

As a graduate of Penn Foster High School or Career School you can request a digital copy of your diploma or certificate to be sent directly to you or another institution.
