  • Age - 16
  • Education - High School Diploma or GED;
    • Students will need to successfully complete and pass both parts of the Skills Assessment Test. The Assessment Tests include Basic Math and Basic Reading.
  • Technology Requirements - You will need access to high-speed internet to begin your program. In addition, you will need access to a Microsoft® Windows® based computer running Windows 10® or later or an Apple® Mac® computer running macOS® Sierra Version 11.2 or later, Microsoft® Office 2019 or Microsoft 365® and an email account to complete this program with Penn Foster.

  • Study Time
    • Domestic - up to 12 months
  • Webinars
    • Webinars and Discussion Boards are required. Recording requests are considered on a case by case basis.
    • Webinars are scheduled lectures that are live and instructor led. They require students to be on time, present through the entire presentation, and interacting with other students as well as the instructor.
  • Discussion Boards
    •  Discussion boards are interactive assignments that encourage online discussion of relevant course topics among students and instructors.
  • Proctored Exams
    • Proctored exams are assessments completed while overseen by a qualified supervisor to ensure integrity in test-taking. The amount of proctored exams varies depending on the program and semester. You will know if the course you are in has a proctored exam by reading the course syllabus. It is up to you to find a qualified proctor. Some proctored exams are offered remotely.

Transfer Credits

To have previous courses considered for transferability, contact the college you attended and request for your official transcript(s) to be sent to Penn Foster for evaluation.

  • Minimum grade of "C" required for transfer credit.
  • Approved transfer credits will be deducted from your tuition.

Refund Policy

At Penn Foster, we continue to develop new ways to expand and improve student satisfaction. However, if the Veterinary Practice Management Certificate Program isn't the right fit for you or you are not satisfied with your experience, we do offer a refund policy. If you cancel within the first 6 days of enrollment you will receive a full refund. After the first 6 days your refund amount will be based on:

  • Lessons completed
  • Tuition collected
  • Enrollment date
